Detroit Pump & Mfg. Co., having been in business since 1926, is committed to developing and maintaining long-term business relationships with its customers and providing them with superior pumping equipment and services. The company develops cooperative relationships with existing and new customers in an effort to clearly identify and effectively address the customer's needs so that Detroit Pump & Mfg. Co. can be what the customer needs them to be. The company became ISO 9001 registered in 1998, upgrading to ISO 9001-2000 in 2005, demonstrating Detroit Pump & Mfg. Co.'s commitment to quality and recognizes the need for continuous improvement in order to maintain a competitive edge in today's marketplace. Becoming ISO registered allowed Detroit Pump to demonstrate to its customers our commitment to being the best. This accomplishment has led to opportunities not given to Detroit Pump competitors and has resulted in over $3,000,000 in automotive projects over the past few years.
