ISO 9001 Registration

Since becoming ISO registered in 1998, we have passed six surveillance audits. Our goal, as a company, is to continue to utilize and expand the skills and practices we gained during the certification process. In 2005, Detroit Pump became ISO registered to the new ISO 9001-2000.

We have created and implemented procedures covering all 20 elements of the International Standard. These procedures make our systems run consistently. Everyone working together and doing things the same way can only continue to improve our system and how we conduct business. Quality is the responsibility of every employee and 100% cooperation is expected. Passing audits is a testimony to this fact. Our goal is to continually improve.

Detroit Pump will continue to implement procedures and guidelines to best serve our needs, as well as the needs of our customers. We must continue to look for ways to improve how we conduct our daily operations thereby bringing our cost of quality down. Our goal is to drive our internal and external failures to zero.

Customer satisfaction is our daily focus. Without our customers, we have no business. We will all make a conscious effort to report any complaints our customers might have with deliveries, product quality, customer service, etc., so that we can look at these issues and "BE WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS WANT US TO BE."
